Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek has been an American actress for over 20 years. She is best known for her roles as Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 movie White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs as well as Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Anne Dudek is an American actress who is best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy film White Chicks. Her television appearances include the role of Dr. Amber Volakis, in the Fox's House sitcom Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran on the HBO drama Big Love. Born and raised in Massachusetts Dudek went to Northwestern University where she got her first stage role in a stage show The Iphigenia Cycle. The show was a Broadway production that went off-Broadway and New York City where she earned the Joseph E. Calloway award for her outstanding performance. She was also profiled as one of the top ten emerging theatre actors to watch in American Theater Magazine. Dudek landed roles in television and also on the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from 2007 to 2016. Dudek was conceived in Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and born in Newton. At the beginning of her career, she attended Northwestern University where she performed in several theater productions. She also made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain (2000). Later, she won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in the recognition of her role in The Glass Menagerie. She then appeared on television beginning with The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. She's appeared as a guest star on a diverse range of shows, including Desperate Women How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs or Six Feet Under. The actress also played Lucinda Barry in the first episode of Psych as well as a teacher who shares a sexual encounter with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then added to various recurring roles, beginning with the fourth season, as Amber Volakis. Dr. Gregory House is considering the possibility of her being a permanent member in the medical team. The character Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the series, until it ended up being killed off in the conclusion of House's Heart. Later, she would reappear in the show's episode Saviors of Season 5, as the hallucination of House. The character continued to be seen as House for the remainder of the series. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men playing the antagonistic neighbors of Alby grant Francine Hanon. In 2010 Dudek was added to the cast of Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks the sister of the central character. She also has appeared in films playing the part of cruise-line heir Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
